TAKING OUR BRAND FURTHER
With our new core vision of connecting brands and people, we took another, giant leap on our journey by updating our brand and way of working to create more value in life!
This entailed introducing a 4-day work week to boost mental wellbeing and productivity, kicking off the project at the new and improved European office on January 2nd, 2023.
NEW B&O STORES IN DENMARK
Expanding our B&O efforts and the Drewsens universe in Denmark, we acquired four stores in Aalborg, Aarhus, Hellerup & Rødovre.

NEW SHOWROOM IN DENMARK
We believe that high-end design is an experience in itself. To showcase our brand portfolio to European consumers, we established a close collaboration with EDDA studio in Copenhagen – a beautiful space in the heart of Denmark’s capitol – where our entire collection can be experienced.
NEW B&O STORES IN AUSTRALIA
To further our retail operations in the Asian Pacific region, we also built the most beautiful Bang & Olufsen flagship stores in Adelaide and Richmond, Australia.
NEW B&O STORES IN DENMARK
Expanding our B&O efforts and the Drewsens universe in Denmark, we acquired two stores in Horsens and Esbjerg, Denmark, to henceforth manage.
NEW BRAND TO THE COLLECTION
We were also incredibly excited to join forces with the award-winning design company, Bolia.com, and add their brand to our Asian-Pacific collection to expand their retail operations into this market specifically. Our first shared journey truly began when we opened the first Bolia store in Singapore in December.
NEW D2C WEB SHOP FOR RO COLLECTION
Working closely together with the team behind our brand, Ro Collection, we expanded our DCD European team’s reach to end customers, building and managing the brand’s new web shop. Welcome to rocollection.dk!

PARTNERSHIP WITH LARS LARSEN GROUP
In May, we embarked on an exciting voyage with the Lars Larsen Group, who became a 30% share owner of the company, which provided a solid foundation for further investments.

NEW NAME
To reflect our new vision of taking additional Danish design brands to the global market, our company was renamed Design Collection Denmark.

With a dream of revitalising the Danish design tradition, we also acquired the Danish design brand, Ro Collection, which our company has full ownership of and distributes globally.

To top the year off, we also invested in a part ownership of Drewsens – the Bang & Olufsen concept stores in Denmark.

With the opening of yet another office, this time in Melbourne, Australia, the dream of further expansion in the Asian Pacific region became a reality!

NEW HEAD OFFICE IN DENMARK
The next step on our journey came when we decided to expand and establish a Danish head office in Silkeborg, Denmark.
2006
OUR BEGINNINGS IN SINGAPORE
Our journey began in Singapore where our company was established and named after our founders, Michael Østergaard and Jonas Wulff Moller. Here, MJ Invest owned and managed the Bang & Olufsen flagship store located in the heart of the city’s shopping district on Orchard Road. This was the beginning of a decade of great experiences and success sharing the wonder of Danish design on the Asian market!
